Woman rescued from Glenmacnass Waterfall
Man airlifted from the Mournes after falling and breaking his leg
The man, who was 62 years old, was part of a group of walkers who were on a section between Slieve Donard and Slieve Commedagh when he fell on wet snow/grass yesterday [ 04-APR-10 ].
The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team was dispatched to the scene where they assessed his injuries. A Coast Guard helicopter was requested to airlift him to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.

North West Mountain Rescue Team Evacuate Trapped Family From House.
The North West Mountain Rescue Team (NWMRT) were called to the assistance of a family in Plumb Bridge in the morning of 01/04/2010.
The family of six adults and six children had been celebrating a family gathering when the recent bad weather struck. Snow in the driveway to the house was over waist deep for most of its kilometre length, and snow cleared from the road had blocked the drive.
