At approx 1900hrs the team received a request to assist an injured walker. Located on the Glen River trail, the adult female had fallen at approx 1700 hrs and suffered a serious leg fracture. NIAS also attended and when the casualty was stabilised, the team undertook a prompt evacuation given the considerable time lapsed. A total of 12 team members were involved and the stood down at 2130hrs.
